The Cowrie House is named after the beautiful cowrie shell, a most coveted shell for beachcombers, which can be found from time to time washed up on the beach if you search hard enough! Valla Beach is steps from your front door, where days will be spent enjoying leisurely walks, swimming and admiring the stunning coastline.
This dual-level home has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with living areas on the second level enjoying magnificent panoramic views over the beach. Relish an afternoon nap on the lounge room day bed overlooking the ocean as you listen to the waves crashing and stress melts away.
The dining area with a table seating eight is great for long lunches, dinners or family board game extravaganzas! The kitchen has an electric oven and stovetop, microwave and dishwasher, making holiday entertaining easy. Although if you don’t want to cook there are two cafes nearby!
Upstairs also features a balcony with views to the beach complete with an outdoor setting and BBQ to enjoy warm afternoons.
Downstairs, a small sitting area with TV and balcony is perfect for the kids to play and relax in.

Valla Beach is located is on the coastal side of the pacific highway, just 11 minutes drive north of Nambucca Heads. It is 42 km south of Coffs Harbour, a 31-minute drive away, and is a 28-minute drive from Coffs Harbour Airport.

- Concierge services are available via our Guest App.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to our guest app. Prior to check-in, you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your licence/passport and credit card before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). We do not charge your card, nor does it get stored by our system, and you are welcome to block out some numbers, but please note that our Guest App has the highest level of PCI compliance available. This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.
